It’s a Wrap, Sis!

It’s a Wrap, Sis!

Head wraps are, low key, one of my favorite accessories. Not only are they versatile, but they also serve a practical purpose – protecting your crown. You can choose bold patters, bold colors or basic colors – the possibilities are endless. Just adding a head wrap has a way of elevating any look. Here are a few reasons to love the head wrap:

Underrated Accessory

Head wraps, truly are, one of the most underrated accessories. No other accessory finishes off a look better than a good wrap. Don’t believe me? Add it to a basic t-shirt and jeans look and tell me it doesn’t take it from basic and boring to polished. When you start looking at the vast array of patterns and colors available, the possibilities are endless. If there’s a bold pattern you love, but just want to add a touch of it to your outfit – use a head wrap. Not to mention the various ways you can style it – topknot, tied to the back, turban style, etc. Now tell me, what other accessory can stunt like that?

Lazy Hair Day

Now listen, I don’t know about you, but sometimes ya girl just doesn’t feel like fussing with her hair. Period. On those days when you don’t feel like doing your hair, but still have errands to run and a life to live, it’s the head wrap to the rescue, especially if your hair is too big to stuff under a baseball cap. Imagine running the streets, looking all regal, and nobody is any the wiser you were too tired to do your hair. Ha!

Multi-Tasker

The head wrap is the ultimate multi-tasking accessory. If you live in cold weather states, the head wrap is the best 2 in 1 – it’s an accessory and a head cover. No need to worry about hat hair or exposing your precious tresses to the environment. On wash day, it can help you maximize your time – throw on a head wrap, while you’re deep conditioning, and you can still knock out your grocery shopping and other errands.

While there are so many options out there, here are a few companies that have the wrap game in a choke hold:
