How to Get What You Deserve

October 20, 2021

You deserve the best of what life has to offer, but knowing how to get what you deserve isn’t always easy. You have the power to make it happen, you just have to know how. Here are a few keys to getting what you deserve:

Know What You Want

First, in order to get what you deserve you have to know what you want. Now, that might sound like a no brainer, but you’d be surprised at the number of people who, when asked, have no clue what they want. Know what you want to get what you want.

Do the Work

To get what you deserve you also have to do the work. Yes, getting what you want will take work. You didn’t think someone was just going to walk up to you and drop it in your lap did you? Manifesting and claiming what you want sounds great, but it’s not the end of the story. You’ll never get what you deserve if you’re not willing to put in the work to get it. Period.

Know Your Worth

Getting what you deserve also requires that you know your worth. Why? Because just about everyone will try to get you to settle for less. You deserve the best life has to offer, but you have to know and believe that for yourself. You also have to be unapologetic about standing your ground and not accept less than what you want.

Getting what you deserve feels like…

Never Settle

To get what you deserve you can’t settle. Ever. Getting what you want might take some time. You have to be willing to hold out instead of settling for less. When you start to settle you’ll find yourself always having to settle. Settling might feel good in the moment, but you’ll regret it in the long run. Don’t do it.

Patience is Key

Exercising patience is key to getting what you deserve. As previously mentioned, good things take time. While you’re waiting for what you want you’ll be presented with many lesser options. If you’re impatient, you’ll sell yourself short and accept less.

Speak Up

There’s a saying that closed mouths don’t get fed. People can’t read your mind, so if there’s something you want, speak up. Sometimes we don’t get what we want because we’re not willing to be vulnerable and let others know what we want. What’s the worst that can happen? They might say no, but they might also say yes. Take a chance and speak up.

Know When to Move

Sometimes getting what you deserve means knowing when to move on. When you’ve done all of the above and you’re still not getting what you want, it might be a sign it’s time to move on. Moving on doesn’t mean you give up on what you want, it just means what you want might have to come through a different avenue. Be committed to the getting what you deserve, but flexible with how it happens.
