Yes You Need a Toner Sis

Yes, you need a toner Sis. Confession time – My skin routine hasn’t always been top tier. I use to be one of those folks who thought toners were nothing but a expensive scam and an unnecessary product that skincare companies were trying to push to make extra cash. Yikes! How wrong I was. Now, I might not have been wrong about the impact of the less than quality toners, but my overall assessment was just dead wrong. If you want your skin to live its best life you have to include a good toner in your skin care routine. Here’s why:

Cleans Beyond Cleansing Alone

Toners clean beyond cleansing alone. No matter how well you wash your face, there are still traces of dirt lingering. A good toner will lift that trace dirt without drying out your skin. If you truly want your skin to be clean, you have to have a good toner.

Added Benefits

A really good toner will do more than just clean. One of my favorites is a brightening toner that evens out your skin tone, minimizes the appearance of dark marks, prevents breakouts and controls oil and shine. When done right, toners can be the ultimate multi-tasking skin care weapon you never knew you needed. So, if you want added benefits, you need one.

Improved Overall Surface Appearance/Texture

A quality toner will also improve the overall appearance/texture of your skin. Going back to my favorite one, it prevents breakouts and minimizes the appearance of pores. If you’ve ever suffered from acne, you may have been left with the appearance of large pores, which isn’t the greatest. A good toner can help you work out some of your skin’s appearance/texture issues.

If you’re looking for a good toner, try the Bolden Brightening Glycolic Acid toner or the Be Transcendent Balance toner (I’ve used them both).

Do you use a toner as part of your skincare routine? If so, which one do you use? Drop a comment below.
